A work of remembrance — carried in three languages by three civilisations, and returned to the places it was made in.
Alethia is the Greek word for uncovering. Nothing is added to a person here. The work is subtraction — of noise, of borrowed language, of the long habit of self-correction — until what was always whole is legible again to the one carrying it. The immersions at Delphi, Karnak and Taktsang are the way most people enter it. They are not the whole of it: there is private counsel, there is work held with boards, and there is the Adyton, which takes three years.

The Adyton.
In a Greek temple the adyton was the room that was not entered. This is the one that is — and it is not entered once.

Bhutan has governed by Gross National Happiness since the nineteen-seventies, across nine domains and thirty-three indicators. The Alethia Index does the same at the scale of one person. Two and a half thousand years earlier, the Greeks were carving their outcomes into the wall at Epidaurus.
